O que pode haver de comum entre o grupo de professores que recentemente invadiu o Ministério da Educação e uma manifestação intersindical realizada em Novembro (?) de 2006 contra o aumento da idade de reforma na função pública?... Talvez a falta de um misto de memória, vergonha e auto-crítica.
Explico. Mesmo que os "inteligentes" da educação reduzam cada vez mais o número aconselhado de alunos por turma, em algum ponto a baixa natalidade acabará por esvaziar as salas de aula e atirar muitos professores para o desemprego. Como não compreendem esta simples evidência tantos professores que andaram e andam a espalhar alegremente pela nossa bendita «escola pública» a sua ideologia radical anti-natalista e anti-família? Podia-se mesmo levar esta interrogação ao ponto de questionar a sua aptidão científica quando verificamos a que ponto a sua cegueira ideológica pode eclipsar uma evidência.
Dirijo-me agora, aos sindicalistas pro-aborto de Janeiro de 2007. Questionei um piquete da CGTP intersindical que, à porta dos Armazéns do Chiado em Lisboa, distribuía alegremente a sua propaganda pro aborto. Perguntei-lhes como compatibilizavam racionalmente aquela posição com a manifestação realizada pouco tempo antes contra a medida governamental de aumento da idade de reforma... naturalmente forçada pela inversão da pirâmide demográfica... que ali mesmo, inconscientemente, contribuíam para agravar!
Perdoa-lhes, Senhor, pois não sabem o que fazem.

crise económico-financeira: uma demolição controlada?
Estão a acontecer coisas muito graves no mundo financeiro, as quais já estão a ter um forte impacto na vida das pessoas concretas mas podem ainda estar longe do seu máximo potencial de "perturbação": económica, social e política. Na base da sucessão de eventos a que estamos a assistir, pode estar um projecto de estabelecer um poder tirânico universal que esmagará a um tempo o princípio da subsidiariedade, tão caro à DSI e que o PPV subscreve, e a própria Dignidade do Homem. Vale a este propósito o sério e explícito alerta deixado pelo Papa Bento XVI na sua carta encíclica "Caritas in Veritate":

The Greek crisis, the attack on Italy's debt, the risks to the euro, inflationary proposals for the dollar, and the yuan deliberately undercut are shaking countries and governments throughout the world. Everything seems to be calculated according to a plan: to build a universal economic government "of a tyrannical type". The analysis of a political economist (First of two parts).
Milan (AsiaNews) - Just last night, Standard & Poor's lowered the credit ratings on the Italian sovereign debt, taking it from A+ to A, increasing concern of some gloomy scenarios in the global economic crisis, a crisis – we'll just say this right away – that looks to us like a "controlled demolition", with precise aims.
The contradictions inherent in the world economy and its pattern of growth have always caught the attention of AsiaNews. Since 2003 we have offered our readers an analysis that has gone against the current, one often very critical with respect to the dominant thought. In this, our special attention to Asia and particularly to China's economy has proved a valuable asset.
Thanks to it, in fact, before many others, we were able to observe and then explain some phenomena that have become common and essential elements of every serious, successive economic analysis. Globalization, so widely praised until a few years ago, was based, in fact, on a unique symbiosis: on the one hand, it has fueled Asian, and particularly Chinese, growth, focusing on exports, with annual rates of around 10%, maintained, moreover, nearly constant for about twenty years. On the other hand, the rapid transformation of Western countries and particularly of the U.S., in economies that are no longer based on manufacturing, but on services, finance and consumption (including a large military expenditure), fueled by the issuance of currency.
The duration and the pace of Chinese growth is unprecedented in history, as is the explosion of public (and private) debt, and in particular the American debt, which officially passed from roughly 60% to more than 100% in a few years. Both cases involve a fraudulent mechanism that feeds on itself: on the one hand, the strong Chinese exchange rate, strongly and artificially undervalued compared to the purchasing power parity (from 30% to 45%, an unbeatable subsidy on Chinese exports) and on the other hand, an issue of currency reserve (mainly the dollar) without restraint or limit. To clarify this last point, recall, for instance, what was said last August by the former head of the Federal Reserve [1]: "The U.S. can pay any debt because they can always print the money to do so. So there is zero chance of default." In fact, there is the certainty of insolence and arrogance of those who hold sovereign power to stamp at will exchange currency.
This arrogant affirmation is basically easy to implement, because you do not need gold and silver mines, as before, and it is not just an American monopoly: a few days ago, the Swiss National Bank said it would defend the exchange rate of the Swiss franc by likewise issuing an unlimited amount of national currency. September 16 is the date of the news of a coordinated intervention of five central banks for the provision of liquidity in dollars on the interbank market. In a week, Bernanke is likely to announce a new wave of "quantitative easing", which technically is a loosening of reserve requirements and in practice is nothing more than a form of monetary emission by buying U.S. Treasury bonds. After the QE2 in November of last year, exhausted by July of this year, it will be time for the QE3's turn, to be followed by the QE4 and thereafter until the QEn.
It involves a perverse symbiotic mechanism, and it is analysis that we have made several times, so that it is enough to just update the data to present it again. We've also written the outcome, which is almost guaranteed: a financial, banking, and finally economic collapse that is unprecedented in history. For the analysis we refer to numerous articles published over the years by AsiaNews.
Regarding the outcome, it may be appropriate to speculate on when and how. From the perspective of the time, one could say that it seems very close, because virtually all key factors in the collapse are already in place in the economic system. For example, given a rate of increase of three billion dollars a day, in the next few days, the U.S. public debt will exceed the ceiling established with difficulty in July by a parliamentary agreement between Democrats and Republicans, while in mid-October, the Greek government will have no more euros to pay its civil servants. Also significant is that last Friday, September 16, Moody's announced that it will complete its analysis of whether to reduce its assessment on the Italian public debt placed under observation for a possible downgrade three months ago. Meanwhile, last night Standard & Poor's lowered its rating for Italy from A+ to A, adding that the outlook for the country is "negative". Everything seems to coincide and the deadline seems imminent.
To cause the situation to precipitate, it seems that all that is lacking is a spark, of which there is no shortage, and this brings us to the how. The business newspapers around the world - which seem to be moving in unison, as if there were no other possible hypothesis - in regard to the debt, are talking about the risk of "contagion" between the European crisis and that of America. In reality they are very different situations and therefore in theory are easily isolated, keeping one economic area of the world separate from the other. This therefore allows one to suppose that the word "contagion" actually means that there will be a series of simultaneous or chain-reaction detonations, from the largest to the smallest, as in a controlled demolition, and that this will give the impression of a sudden spread of the fire. For example, the Italian debt has been spoken of often in the last two months, as well as how it could be the detonator of a generalized collapse of public debt throughout the world. This gives some idea of the instrumental nature of the analysis that being is proposed to us.
Given this alleged "contagion", AsiaNews must also look a little more closely at the possible spark of the next probable fire: Italian events. Italy had more or less the current level of public debt at the beginning of the nineties. During the current crisis, the Italian public debt, which has increased by 7% of the GDP, has been the one with had the lowest rate of increase from 2007 to 2011. In comparison, the United Kingdom (47%), the United States (38%) and Japan (37%), have had much greater increases (the record is Ireland, with an increase of 65%)[2]. Italy also approved two operations, a few months apart, to reduce the budget deficit. The first, in July of last year, of 25 billion and the second on September 15 with a further reduction of 55 billion euros: no small thing, in relation to the Italian GDP and the fact that the Western economy is at a stage that is much more contractive than expansive in tendency. Then take into account that Italy has initiated measures to reduce structural deficits of pension and health spending, with long-term effects, while other countries have not only not reduced their spending, but on the contrary have approved laws that in the future will cause a sharp increase. For example, in the United States the value of future spending commitments ("unfunded liabilities") without coverage is about 115 thousand billion dollars, and this means that the U.S. public debt is actually much higher [3], about 840% of the GDP, compared to the one published, of roughly 100%.
From a technical standpoint, therefore, Moody's decision last June to put the Italian public debt under observation for a possible downgrade, makes no sense. If, later this month, after Italy has adopted and implemented a double maneuver of a fast and sharp reduction of the public deficit, operational since 2011, Moody's should confirm, as is likely, a pejorative assessment, the situation would become ridiculous. This pejorative assessment should have been made 10, 20, 30 years ago, when the Italian public debt was growing, not now. Doing it now is very suspicious.
The fact is that whoever is providing these ratings - Moody's, Standard & Poor's and Fitch, the three assessment ("rating") agencies for debt securities - has no credibility in terms of independence and impartiality, because of the enormous conflict of interest due to the controlling shareholders' cross-shareholdings. From the following table, below, Moody's bad faith is also evident. Moody's owes its worldwide monopoly - which it shares with the two other sister agencies - to a private company, very little known outside of very narrow circles, the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc., ISDA. It is the consortium of an exclusive group of players in the derivatives market, whose total nominal value of exchange is approximately 10-12 times the world GDP. It is therefore sad, but only logical, that a small company like Moody's is likely doing a small favor, a little illicit trade, at the expense of the common folk.
It will probably be this very agency to provide the spark to trigger the collapse of the global financial and monetary system. It will therefore be a controlled demolition, such as that of the WTC building 7 [4], the third building that collapsed in New York on September 11, 2001, several hours after the two planes had crashed into the Twin Towers. Clearly, before anyone could ever imaging that the Berlusconi government, this mess, would be able to get the safeguarding of Italian public finances approved, someone decided that Italy was to be "pulled down" in the fall. Despite the unexpected inconsistency, it was not possible, it can be inferred, to modify the script in a hurry, since it was carefully prearranged long beforehand, for the benefit of the argumentative logic of the international media. The show must go on according to the original script.
Though without (unfortunately) a copy of this lineup, it is still fairly easy to intuit, and below we give a reading of it. The explosion of the crisis in Greece, as has been said, is expected by mid-October. This, however, does not have sufficient detonating power because Greece is too small a country too ignite a general crisis. The script therefore provides for a further step, and it is the French and German banks' turn, which have a strong amount of Greek government bonds, especially the French Société Générale, BNP Paribas and Crédit Agricole. So far so "good", everything is proceeding according to script, with no troubles.
From here on out there is ingrafted, however, the downgrading of Italian public debt, part of the scripted logic made less credible by the two maneuvers of Berlusconi's government. According to the script, being themselves in difficulty, the French banks must reduce their investment in the Italian titles placed under observation or demoted, and of which they are among the largest holders. In October, therefore, some effects should have added up in a dramatic crescendo, extending to all of Europe, like in 1848. It turns out that an eighty billion (25 +55) reduction, 10% of the Italian public spending, is not enough: we need another hundred. The analysis is correct, but putting the country on a diet too quickly can cause failure, in this case riots and insurrections. There will be these, too, but it is not enough. At this point one has to insert a twist, a reversal of fortunes: the Federal Reserve announces that, together with the International Monetary Fund, it will intervene to save the Euro, provided that the European countries do their part. It's a brilliant move, the world stock markets recover, apparently, and the riots cease. Berlusconi, however, must go away, at any rate, because so it is written in the script. He did not fall on the public accounts, he did not fall on Ruby the Heartbreaker, aka Karima El Maghroub, aka Karima Heyek [5]. But something will be found; it's sufficient to apply the Libya schema [6]. Berlusconi is forced to resign by a revolution - "spontaneous", of course - and either a "transitional" government or one for "national unity" is set up.
The new government, lacking the legitimacy of an election, is very weak and internally divided. It therefore fails to carry out the necessary cuts and the reduction of public debt and in a couple of months, despite the American intervention, Italy is forced into insolvency. Being one of the major European Union countries, the effect is the disintegration of the Euro. At this point, the finish line is finally in sight: the Fed has, in fact, issued an avalanche of dollars sufficient to make the situation irreversible. After a few months, at least six, more likely a year, the final act of the drama goes on stage: burdened by the weight of the bank bailouts of 2008, 24 thousand billion dollars, from QE1, QE2, QE3, ..., QEn, from the failed safeguarding of Europe, the dollar crashes, and with it, a hundred years after its establishment, the Federal Reserve.
With the demise of the dollar, derivative contracts are worthless and the ISDA members who had been privy to the script in advance celebrate: they had converted as much as they could into gold and silver. On the ashes of the Fed, there commence negotiations to divide the shares of a new, single world currency, reserved for each macro-region of the world. It doesn't take much imagination. In fact, the money already exists: it is the counting unit of the International Monetary Fund, the Special Drawing Rights (SDR). You simply need to broaden the composition, now made up of dollars, euro, yen and pounds, coins that at this point of the story are now defunct. Having established the new single currency, leaders proceed to formalize the establishment of a central world bank and then of a world government, with the consequences that one might imagine.
Apart from the concrete, elevated and catastrophic risk of a world war stemming from differences of interest, what we don't like about this project is simply everything. But what is more outrageous and disgusting is the falsehood and artificiality with which it is pursued, while what worries most is the risk to the freedom of billions of people. It is, in fact, a plan to establish a Superstate, in which to cage the whole earth in a kind of Soviet Union. It is the premise for this "dangerous universal power of a tyrannical type" of which the Pope wrote in his encyclical, "Caritas in Veritate".

It's a brilliant move, the world stock markets recover, apparently, and the riots cease. Berlusconi, however, must go away, at any rate, because so it is written in the script. He did not fall on the public accounts, he did not fall on Ruby the Heartbreaker, aka Karima El Maghroub, aka Karima Heyek [5]. But something will be found; it's sufficient to apply the Libya schema [6]. Berlusconi is forced to resign by a revolution - "spontaneous", of course - and either a "transitional" government or one for "national unity" is set up.
The new government, lacking the legitimacy of an election, is very weak and internally divided. It therefore fails to carry out the necessary cuts and the reduction of public debt and in a couple of months, despite the American intervention, Italy is forced into insolvency. Being one of the major European Union countries, the effect is the disintegration of the Euro. At this point, the finish line is finally in sight: the Fed has, in fact, issued an avalanche of dollars sufficient to make the situation irreversible. After a few months, at least six, more likely a year, the final act of the drama goes on stage: burdened by the weight of the bank bailouts of 2008, 24 thousand billion dollars, from QE1, QE2, QE3, ..., QEn, from the failed safeguarding of Europe, the dollar crashes, and with it, a hundred years after its establishment, the Federal Reserve.
With the demise of the dollar, derivative contracts are worthless and the ISDA members who had been privy to the script in advance celebrate: they had converted as much as they could into gold and silver. On the ashes of the Fed, there commence negotiations to divide the shares of a new, single world currency, reserved for each macro-region of the world. It doesn't take much imagination. In fact, the money already exists: it is the counting unit of the International Monetary Fund, the Special Drawing Rights (SDR). You simply need to broaden the composition, now made up of dollars, euro, yen and pounds, coins that at this point of the story are now defunct. Having established the new single currency, leaders proceed to formalize the establishment of a central world bank and then of a world government, with the consequences that one might imagine.
Apart from the concrete, elevated and catastrophic risk of a world war stemming from differences of interest, what we don't like about this project is simply everything. But what is more outrageous and disgusting is the falsehood and artificiality with which it is pursued, while what worries most is the risk to the freedom of billions of people. It is, in fact, a plan to establish a Superstate, in which to cage the whole earth in a kind of Soviet Union. It is the premise for this "dangerous universal power of a tyrannical type" of which the Pope wrote in his encyclical, "Caritas in Veritate".

Vaticano critica financiamento [da ONU] a programas de aborto
Lisboa, 16 set 2011 (Ecclesia) – O Vaticano qualificou esta quinta-feira como “totalmente inaceitáveis” as tentativas de financiar projetos de contraceção e aborto no plano de cuidados de saúde materna.
Na 18ª sessão do Conselho dos Direitos Humanos da ONU, o observador permanente da Santa Sé disse esperar que “a comunidade internacional consiga reduzir a mortalidade materna promovendo intervenções eficazes, que se baseiem nos valores mais profundos e no conhecimento médico e científico, respeitando a sacralidade da vida desde a sua conceção à morte natural”.

Reino Unido restringe lei do aborto
O Ministério da Saúde pretende anunciar um plano para um novo sistema de aconselhamento prévio das mulheres que pretendem abortar. As mudanças visam dar às mulheres mais "espaço para respirar".
O plano deverá introduzir a exigência de um aconselhamento por entidade independente [das clínicas de aborto], realizado em instalações diferentes e por uma equipa que não realiza abortos. Os críticos das clínicas abortistas defendem que o "aconselhamento" realizado por estas está enviesado na medida em que estas são geridas como qualquer negócio privado [...].

aborto gratuito é ofensivo

[...] É uma daquelas coisas realmente ofensivas. Os cortes da saúde chegaram e as taxas moderadoras têm de subir, mas o aborto é gratuito. Faz todo o sentido, sim senhora. As maternidades debatem-se com problemas sérios para suportar a sua atividade principal (recorde-se: trazer crianças a este mundo), mas o aborto é gratuito. Faz sentido, sim senhora. Num contexto de crise demográfica, o tratamento de fertilidade deixou de ser uma prioridade, mas o aborto é gratuito . Faz sentido, sim senhora. Mas sabem o que é ainda pior? Num país onde o aborto é completamente gratuito (até acho que a mulher recebe um subsídio de - pasme-se - maternidade), é quase impossível encontrar um especialista em saúde materna nos centros de saúde. Portanto, no Portugal progressista de 2011, uma mulher que dá à luz é menos protegida do que uma mulher que escolhe abortar. Meus caros, tudo isto é uma imoralidade tremenda, para usar um eufemismo publicável.

As projecções demográficas [da Segurança social] estão a ser aldrabadas.
Estão a fechar-se escolas [...] quem está a fechar escolas é a população que não tem filhos [...] E o governo limita-se a atirar três pazadas de terra em cima dos cadáveres em que as escolas se tornaram.
E obviamente isso vai gerar desemprego nos professores. E eu nao percebo como é que há professores a reclamarem que há falta de emprego. Há falta de emprego porque há falta de crianças. E continuo a ver uma quantidade de professores a fazer publicidade e propaganda por políticas e cultura anti-natalista.

Pergunta: E ao nivel da natalidade, tudo o que vemos é corte do abono de familia, o cheque-bebé nunca chegou a entrar em vigor. A esse nivel o que é que falta fazer?
Fernando Castro: «Falta apagar todas as leis idiotas que foram criadas nos ultimos anos - leis essa q foram da mais dura que pura politica anti-natalista que existe.
Por exemplo:
1) A lei do aborto - o que se fez não foi liberalizar o aborto, foi financiar o aborto. Quem quer abortar [o número de vezes que quiser] não paga taxa moderadora e as açoreanas até vêm abortar a Lisboa com viagem [e estadia] paga para si e para um acompanhante [além do direito a subsídio de maternidade e licença por 30 dias]
2) Fez-se o «divórcio express». Há uns anos fizemos um inquérito para saber quantos filhos querem ter é que as mulheres em idade fértil - ao contrário da Alemanha e da Áustria, as mulheres querem em média ter 3.1 filhos. Perguntadas sobre o que é que precisavam para ter esses filhos, a primeira resposta foi «ter a ajuda do companheiro» - para ter essa ajuda é preciso que o tenham, que ele esteja lá. Mas quando o governo liberaliza ainda mais o divórcio e cria um sistema fiscal [anti-nalatista o resultado só pode ser este]. Quanto mais liberal, mais fácil é o divórcio, com menos responsabilidade as pessoas partem para o casamento como é normal.

Esta lei do «casamento gay» já é disparatada. Com adopção de crianças ainda seria mais. [...] As crianças precisam de ser educadas por uma família natural. E nem é por uma figura masculina e outra feminina, é pelo Pai e pela Mãe. É preciso começar por tentar reduzir o numero de crianças que não são educadas pelos seus pais. Quando não é possível, tem de se procurar a essas crianças um lar com condições tão próximas quanto possível da família natural.

Acho disparatado que, no que diz respeito aos livros escolares, ninguém vai receber absolutamente nada. Portugal continua a ter uma política disparatada [e anti-natalista] no que respeita aos livros escolares.
Nenhuma família em Portugal devia ser obrigada a pagar os livros escolares. O que se passa é uma gigantesca aldrabice, uma enorme negociata, que faz com que nas famílias um irmão nunca possa passar os seus livros para um irmão mais novo.
pergunta: Essa é uma reivindicação já antiga. O que falta para mudar isso?
Fernando Castro: Falta vontade política. [...] O governo de uma vez por todas tem de decidir: estou ao serviço da educação, estou ao serviço das famílias, estou ao serviço das crianças, estou ao serviço do país - ou estou ao serviço da indústria [editorial] educativa?
è bom que o estado acabe de vez com esta negociata, com este disparate que faz com que os livros não possam ser reutilizáveis. Confrange ver por vezes os deputados e membros do governo anunciar a criação de um "banco de livros escolares". Não façam nada disso. Limitem-se a alterar a lei que faz com que [hoje] os livros [e todo e qualquer material impresso] não sejam reutilizáveis. Acabem de vez com a história de os livros serem criados para serem destruídos pelos alunos.

concepção e humanidade: toda a verdade científica
«A seguir à união sexual dos dois progenitores do novo indivíduo, decorrem cerca de 6 horas até ao encontro da célula masculina (espermatozóide) com a célula feminina (óvulo). Estas células, chamadas germinais, são muito especiais e têm, cada uma, só 23 cromossomas no seu núcleo. Assim, cada célula germinal é viva mas incapaz, sozinha, de evoluir para um novo ser (a). Porém, cerca de 20 horas depois da união dos progenitores, acontece um facto maravilhoso: os núcleos das células germinais fundem-se num novo núcleo de 46 cromossomas iniciando um ser humano original, distinto do pai e da mãe pois todas as informações genéticas (genoma) desse novo conjunto de cromossomas são só dele. É o momento da fecundação ou concepção.»

comunicado da Direcção Política Nacional
1. O senhor Ministro da Economia considera que a Madeira poderá um dia tornar-se independente se quiser*. Mantendo a mesma lógica de raciocínio, deve igualmente defender no Conselho de Ministros que os cidadãos possam ser dispensados de contribuir com os seus impostos para a prática de abortos, se não quiserem. Os cidadão têm o direito de exercer a sua objecção de consciência fiscal**.
2. Seguindo o mesmo princípio de liberdade individual, cada cidadão também deve poder optar por não contribuir com os seus impostos para abjecções televisivas como o «último a sair», emitidas em horário nobre no canal (de serviço público) RTP1. Na emissão de 20.07.2011 foram tantos e tais os dislates que se justifica a venda imediata do "formato" de Bruno Nogueira a custo zero para qualquer estação privada que o quisesse adquirir. Pede-se ao governo e à Direcção da RTP que zelem pela boa aplicação dos impostos pagos pelos cidadãos.
3. A entidade (Conselho de Finanças Públicas) criada pelo governo para conferir credibilidade às contas públicas portuguesas perante os mercados internacionais, conforme o PPV já alertou***, além de invadir competências do Ministro das Finanças, arrisca-se a falhar o objectivo central. A sua credibilidade não resulta da inclusão de académicos mais ou menos reputados e especialistas internacionais. O mercado segue uma regra básica e universal que escapa a académicos e politicos. Quem é o titular da folha de pagamentos da Entidade? Quem paga a factura? O mercado sabe que esta Entidade dirá o que convém a quem lhe paga - ou, no mínimo, di-lo-á do modo e no momento mais conveniente. Os mercados atenderão pouco ou mesma nada os pareceres que sobre as finanças públicas portuguesas irá emitir um Conselho cuja folha de pagamentos é apresentada ao Estado POrtuguês. Os mercados perceberão ainda que, para além do desperdício de dinheiro com a criação de mais uma Entidade irrelevante (depois de o acordo com a Troika apontar para a redução do seu número), o governo português não entende a lógica dos mercados.
4. O PPV apoiará a convocação de um novo referendo nacional de iniciativa popular incidindo sobre a dignidade e inviolabilidade da vida humana.
5. O PPV congratula-se com a passagem do nono centenário da data natalícia do primeiro rei de Portugal, D. Afonso Henriques, nascido a 25 de Julho de 1111, dia de Santiago, em Guimarães, segundo a mais antiga tradição. O PPV assinala igualmente a passagem de mais um aniversário sobre a data da Batalha de Ourique, 25.07.1139 na qual, segundo a tradição, pela primeira vez D. Afonso Henriques foi pelos portugueses aclamado como rei.

Hospitais devem eliminar objectos alusivos à infância ou do foro religioso de salas para aborto?
A Inspeção-Geral das Actividades em Saúde (IGAS) recomenda aos hospitais públicos que retirem dos gabinetes onde atendem mulheres para interrupção voluntária da gravidez objetos que possam interferir com a escolha das utentes.
Esta é uma das recomendações que resultou da inspeção realizada no ano passado a 22 estabelecimentos de saúde que realizam abortos por opção da mulher até às 10 semanas de gravidez, que a legislação em vigor há quatro anos veio permitir.
No relatório da IGAS, é recomendado que objetos alusivos à infância ou do foro religioso sejam removidos dos gabinetes médicos e de apoio psicológico e social onde é prestado atendimento a estas utentes.
A inspeção diz ainda que as unidades de saúde devem criar um telefone direto para a consulta hospitalar da interrupção voluntária da gravidez (IVG), “facilitando o cumprimento dos prazos legais”.
Deve ainda existir um contacto disponível de um profissional de saúde, em horário útil, para esclarecer possíveis dúvidas “durante todo o processo de IVG, minimizando o recurso desnecessário ao serviço de urgência”.
A IGAS diz ainda que a Direção Geral da Saúde deve atualizar a informação disponível na Internet relativamente à consulta de IVG, com indicação dos dias, horários da consulta e profissionais de saúde adstritos.
Apesar das recomendações, a inspeção reconhece que o sistema público tem procurado dar resposta para “a realização de um aborto seguro”, mesmo com a escassez de recursos e com o “elevado número de profissionais” que se declararam objetores de consciência.
Ainda assim, a inspeção detetou falhas no cumprimento da lei nos serviços públicos.
Segundo o relatório, havia, em 2010, um centro hospitalar no qual em cada unidade onde se realiza a consulta de IVG apenas há um médico, o que faz com que a comprovação da idade gestacional não seja feita por um clínico diferente daquele que realiza o abroto, como determina a lei.
“Apesar de existir certificado de assinatura por médico diferente, esta assinatura não passa de um ato meramente formal, pois é feita à posteriori pelo outro médico da unidade e vice-versa”, refere o Relatório de Actividades do IGAS, divulgado na Internet.

homenagem a Maria José Nogueira Pinto
O movimento «Portugal pro Vida» presta a sua derradeira homenagem à D.rª Maria José Nogueira Pinto. Manifestamos à família as suas condolências e homenagem pela coragem e coerência com que sempre se assumiu como uma das poucas personalidades pro Vida da política portuguesa.

Poland to vote on historic bill banning all abortions after massive grassroots campaign
WARSAW, Poland, June 28, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - After months of shielding the initiative from English media, organizers of a massive pro-life grassroots campaign in Poland have now told LifeSiteNews.com that Parliamentarians in the country are preparing to vote this week on an historic bill that would enshrine total protection for children in the womb from the moment of conception.
The organizers told LSN that they were worried that if the news broke in the English-speaking world, pro-abortion foreign powers would have poured money into the country to oppose their popular efforts.
To bring the abortion ban before Parliament under Poland’s political system, the sponsors needed to collect 100,000 signatures within three months. They got 600,000 in two weeks.
The bill, which comes up for first reading in the ‘Sejm’ (lower house) on Thursday, is the result of a huge nation-wide grassroots initiative launched by Warsaw’s PRO Foundation and supported by the country’s bishops and a newly-formed pro-life parliamentary committee.
Abortion was first foisted on the deeply Catholic people of Poland after Hitler’s tanks stormed the country 70 years ago; but the demise of the Nazis was followed by decades of state-promoted abortion-on-demand under their Soviet successors.
“This project is a chance to finally reject the heritage of Nazism and Communism which brought ‘legal abortion’ to Poland in the first place,” Jacek Sapa of the PRO Foundation told LifeSiteNews. “It was Hitler and Stalin who imposed it on Poles and it’s high time we clearly disassociate ourselves from those deadly ideologies.”
“The Church clearly teaches that it is the obligation of Catholics not to protect the current ‘compromise’ but to aim at complete protection of life,” said Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz, former personal assistant to Blessed John Paul II, in an interview for Gosc Niedzielny, Poland’s largest opinion weekly. “This is a solution, which the Church calls for. I support all efforts aiming at improving the protection of human life.”
The status quo on abortion: Illegal, but “not punishable” if…
Ever since the Communists were overthrown in 1989, Poland has labored to restore its cultural and religious heritage. As part of that project, in 1993 the country passed one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the West. Since then, abortions have fallen dramatically, with Ministry of Health data showing a drop from 82,000 abortions in 1989 to about 500 in 2008.
Under the current law, abortions can only be obtained where the child is diagnosed with a serious defect or disease, where the mother is diagnosed with a health problem, or where the pregnancy resulted from “illegal activity.”
However, the law and its exceptions are often abused by pro-abortion doctors. ‘Defect’ can be deemed to include something as minimal as cleft palate, and though abortions are only supposed to take place up to the point of viability, or about 24 weeks, in practice doctors can fudge the dates. Further, though pregnancies resulting from “illegal activity” would seem to refer to pregnancies that are the result of rape or incest, it can also be applied to teen pregnancies on the basis that the law forbids sex with a person under 15 years of age.
Although abortions under the exceptions occur without penalty, a point often missed is that even under the current law, abortion is always “illegal” in Poland. The law merely states that under the exceptions abortions are “not punishable.”
Striking down the exceptions
The PRO Foundation’s citizens’ bill is the first attempt to institute a total ban on abortion since the current law passed in 1993. The bill would strike down all three exceptions in the abortion law, applying the current penalties in all cases.
Under the law, doctors caught performing illegal abortions face up to 3 years imprisonment, or up to 8 years where the child was viable. The same penalties are applied to anyone who pressures a woman into abortion, or helps her obtain one. The mother faces no penalties.
The bill will be debated in the ‘Sejm’ at first reading on Thursday, with a vote to decide its fate on Thursday or Friday. If it gets 50% plus one vote, then it will move to committee for consideration, and then back to the ‘Sejm’ for a second and then third vote. It would then go to the Senate for a vote, and, if passed, the country’s president must decide whether to sign it into law. If he does not, then the Parliament would need to give it two-thirds support in order to overturn his veto.
Sapa said the bill has a “realistic” chance of passing, noting that 90% of parliamentarians are Catholics who have an interest in appearing on side with the Church. “Politicians opposing this pro-life law risk openly defying the Church and this simply does not pay,” he explained. “Poles are still a Catholic nation, and politicians often seek to present themselves as faithful Catholics during electoral campaigns to gain popularity.
“A vote for abortion would belie their ‘Catholic’ public image,” he added.
In 2007, an effort to enshrine the “right to life from conception to natural death” in the Polish constitution won support from 60% of parliamentarians, but failed because it needed two-thirds. That amendment, however, would not have had the immediate effect of removing the exceptions for abortion.
Supported by the bishops
The Polish Bishops’ Conference has campaigned for the bill’s passage through letters to politicians, public statements, and efforts to mobilize the faithful into prayer and lobbying.
In a letter signed by Bishop Kazimierz Gorny, head of the bishops’ Council for the Family, they told politicians that “the fate of this Nation is in your hands.” “ so that every conceived child - whether healthy or unwell - has the right to life, without exception, and would not be threatened by the law allowing for their killing,” they wrote.
“We must stop the wave of killing in Polish hospitals. We must formulate the law in such a way, that it will obviously imply the right to life for every child, including sick children,” said Archbishop Stanislaw Gadecki, archbishop metropolitan of Poznan, last week.
Mobilizing the pro-life politicians
Bogumil Lozinski of Gosc Niedzielny, the nation’s largest Catholic weekly, said that the grassroots effort has mobilized not only the populace, but pro-life politicians as well. “One of the greatest effects of the whole debate is that a group for the protection of life has been formed within the parliament,” he wrote. “The parliamentarians who formed it say openly that their main goal is to pass this bill and encourage their colleagues to vote for it.”
This pro-life parliamentary committee boasts members from nearly all the political parties, except for the pro-abortion and communist Democratic Left Alliance. One of the founding members is Jacek Zalek from the ruling Civic Platform party.
“The defense of life and dignity of people is an obligation of every society and it is not a question of religion,” Zalek wrote in the major daily paper Rzeczpospolita. “You don’t have to be a believer to be able to tell good from evil. Affirmation of the value of life results from natural law and goes beyond political competition between parties.”
Creating the conditions for success
Mariusz Dzierżawski of the PRO Foundation told LifeSiteNews that the campaign has been bolstered by a major cultural shift towards life in recent years, with Poles now strongly in favor of full protections for the unborn. The shift, he says, is thanks to the “unrelenting efforts” of pro-lifers who have organized exhibitions, rallies, and other campaigns to educate the public.
A June 3rd survey showed 65% of Poles agreeing that the law “should unconditionally protect the life of all children since conception.” Only 23% supported abortions in cases where unborn children of 24 weeks or less were diagnosed with a “serious disease.”
Significantly, 76% of those aged 15 to 24-years-old wanted total protection for the unborn – the most of any age group. The lowest level of support came from the oldest age bracket, 55 to 70 years old, but still with 57% supporting total protection.
Jaroslaw Kniolek of the PRO Foundation noted that this older generation grew up under the Communists, when abortion was widespread and forced on the culture. “Young people, on the other hand, not only have the knowledge of the facts of abortion, they also have wonderful role models, especially young Catholics of the ‘JP2 generation’,” he said.
Only six years ago, in 2005, the CBOS polling firm found that 57% of Poles would allow for early abortions, while only 36% were against it. By 2009, they found that only 31% allowed for the abortions, while 64% were against it. Then, earlier this year, their poll showed that 85% of Polish citizens identified themselves as pro-life, while only 9% supported access to abortion.
“We now have a great social basis for a change in the law, and we will change the law to make it pro-life,” Dzierżawski said. “Even if it shouldn’t happen this year, it will in the coming years.”

PPV deixa de reconhecer a E.R.C.

Tendo vários dirigentes do PPV e eu próprio, na qualidade de responsável-geral, apresentado na ERC as nossas queixas* contra o público e notório tratamento discriminatório durante a última campanha eleitoral, o comportamento que seria de esperar de uma instituição idónea seria a adopção de uma deliberação, assinada pelo seu Presidente e responsável máximo, e o seu envio atempado aos interessados. De facto, o contraste entre a prática das televisões e a Legalidade que a ERC deveria garantir, resulta evidente das duas decisões do Tribunal de Oeiras face a providências interpostas pelos partidos PCTP/MRPP e MEP.
A Lei está do nosso lado e dá efectivamente suporte à nossa reclamação. Daqui resulta igualmente que o critério inventado pelas televisões e secundado pela ERC, exigindo que um partido concorresse à "generalidade dos círculos eleitorais", não tem a mínima base legal. Parece-nos que a ERC não pode apresentar-se como uma entidade sancionadora de arbitrariedades e não podia deixar passar em claro a afirmação da apresentadora da RTP no "debate a 7", escudando-se numa deliberação da ERC que, tanto quanto alcança o conhecimento público, não existe.
A agravar estes factos, o modo. O tratamento dado às nossas reclamações foi surreal e constitui, só por si, uma afronta ao PPV pelo que esta atitude nos merece o mais frontal repúdio. Concretizamos com os factos:
1. A resposta da ERC foi enviada (e por nós recebida) no dia 9 de Junho, já após as eleições em relação às quais reclamávamos "igualdade de oportunidades"
2. A resposta da ERC foi remetida para um endereço oficioso (mais.cidadania@clix.pt) e não para aqueles de onde partiram as nossas queixas oficiais (portugalprovida@gmail.com / luisbotelhoribeiro@gmail.com) e que, naturalmente, íamos consultando dia a dia para darmos sequência em tempo útil.
3. A resposta da ERC chegou-nos da parte de um senhor José Paulo Correia de Matos (director do Departamento Jurídico?) a quem jamais nos dirigimos.
4. A resposta da ERC resume-se à transcrição de uma "informação(???)" AJCC/2011, datada já de 27 de Maio, assinada por um tal António José Cardoso da Conceição do Departamento Jurídico, e perante a qual:
Em face deste lamentável e anormal comportamento, o PPV vem apresentar o seu protesto e informar V. Exª de que deixamos de reconhecer a ERC como uma instituição idónea da República Portuguesa enquanto V. Ex.ª se mantiver na presidência. Decorrente desta situação excepcional, cessará imediatamente toda a comunicação entre o PPV e a ERC. Pela nossa parte, daremos conhecimento desta posição às instâncias competentes da República Portuguesa - Primeiro-Ministro, Assembleia da República e Presidente da República - e à comunicação social.

iv) nenhuma explicação dá para a afirmação «foi este o critério definido pela entidade reguladora da comunicação com os três(?) operadores televisivos», claramente proferida pela apresentadora do «debate a 7» do dia 18 de Maio, reportando-se para as três «decisão individualizada(?)» referidas na informação AJCC/2011 sem qualquer referência verificável e até hoje impossíveis de encontrar no site da ERC na parte relativa ao "pluralismo" (onde se encontra a nossa reclamação similar, apresentada após as presidenciais) -
